Natasha's Bacon Water Chestnuts
Sweet, salty, fresh, and crisp bacon-wrapped water chestnuts glazed with maple syrup.

Ingredients
- 8 slices of bacon
- 1 tin of water chestnuts
- Maple syrup
Method
- Drain the water from the chestnuts.
- Half-cook the bacon under a broiler or in an air fryer.
- Slice each half-cooked bacon strip into three pieces.
- Wrap each water chestnut with a piece of bacon.
- Skewer each bacon-wrapped chestnut with a toothpick.
- Place them on a cooling rack set on a baking tray.
- Drizzle with maple syrup.
- Air fry at 170°C or oven roast at 190°C convection.
- Remove when the bacon is crisp.
Notes
Soak the toothpicks in water ahead of time to help prevent them from burning.
